WHY WOMAN CRY !

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said:

"When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,

yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart- the place where love resides"

  2. This perception of women is wat i contradict a bit, not tht she has strength but tht people see her strength for all the wrong reasons. when a wife withstands all the troubles she has strength n when she revolts, she's called bitch.can one see the women's strength only in her troubles and her weeping eyes.doesnt a woman needs to make her own identity not entangled with her husband n children, doesnt she have the right to live her own life.there r thousands of women who think their life is nothing beyond their husbands n children, but isnt it their own life, aint they gotta live for themselves n do the things they believed in. i see women's strenght not in her weeping eyes but in the eyes beaming with confidence to lead her own life.

  5. Maverick:- you are right.I have never understood this concept myself, even though I am a woman. But it's the nature of woman or inbuilt personality any woman gives more importance to her loved ones than her ownself, and the loved ones are always her children or husbad, brother etc.And at times she cries for them.this is a mystry for me!

Adyayan:-No I do not go to ASU.I am through with studies nwo, finished my master's in computor appliction recently. For the time being have no plans to be invloved in serious studies. Thanks for dropping by.Do come again.

  8. Women are Teflon coated, armor plated and never to be confused with a complicated kitchen utensil. We should never walk behind our mates carrying their sword, instead we should walk beside them carrying our own sword. We are intelligent and built for survival. We are sexual as well as sexy and have the right to own our bodies, making the decision of how to use them as we wish without fear of judgment from those who would dare try to own us.

  9. "I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going"
That's very true. When I was young, one day I was crying for some rason. My brother started laughing and teasing me about it. I punched him so hard in the stomoch, he actually cried. ha ha. So women can cry and they can make people cry too.

  10. Too sexist yaar. I think this compartmentalisation of the characteristics of men and women is completely flawed. Both the sexes have so may characteristics in common (including the ones mentioned by you) that it will be infair to give women a special credit for them.

  11. Your write up does eulogize women but in a way that is opposite to what feminists would want...

You have shown that the woman in the role of a homemaker is as much a role model to women of the future as a path breaking feminist is various other fields. This is something I totally support.
You don't NEED to break in to every other domain that has been considered a man's prerogative to show that you are a tuf dudette. That is a truth that has been plain to see all along...

  12. Beautiful.Being a woman is special in more ways than one.
I am not so much of a feminist.I do however believe that all of us play a part/role in life, and neither one can take over the other.

  13. Hmm, not sure if I agree with this but its definitely interesting.
