The women behind !
There is always a different kind of personality hidden in every person, whether he/she realize it or not, accept it or not, but there certainly is. Some time this difference is due to physical capability, due to emotional conditions, or due to certain circumstances.
I have realized that, here are similar kinds of differences in men and women both, whether people accept it or not, and I some time wonder that how would this world look, or this world be, if man and woman be similar in their individual characteristic, their habbit, their emotional feelings, their capabilities, and every such quality which is specific either for a man or a woman.
There are some basic traits in every human. But adding only one more traits to a particular human makes it either a man or a woman. That quality is so powerful which makes a person behave, or look, either like a woman or a man. So I feel like there is only one trait missing in a man or a woman.I guess that trait is womanhood,motherhood .Motherhood is a 
Doctors advise women, from puberty to menopause, to direct their attention toward healthy reproduction. Women must avoid strong emotions, like anger, because they might damage their organs. Motherhood is a woman's normal function. Those who thwarted nature's plan must expect to suffer for their action. Spinsters and celebates were thus fated to experience a greater incidence of physical and emotional disease, a shorter life span, and a reproductive system under constant pressure and therefore prone to cancer and digenerative ills. A woman's reproductive organs must be bathed occasionally with a man's vital force if she was to remain healthy.But these days not having kids has become a sign of modernity.Like every other need at certain point this need should also be respected.
Some time people say that, there should be equality in man and woman. I wonder how it is possible when both are different. Which direction will the world go if a woman starts acting and thinking like a man?This thought of mine makes me furious when any one says man and woman are alike.No they are not,they can not be and they should not be alike! Men and women have different hard wiring in their brian,how can they be alike.
The attribute of feminism which makes someone a woman is the wonderful experience for the world. People should feel and respect that feminism, in woman.
Let woman live like a woman, her inborn character, her needs, her passion, her affection should not be killed.
It is the passion of the woman which is making this world so beautiful, it is priceless. Try to understand her needs , her desire too.
So my question for every one and especially women in this world is, that when ever, there arises a question mark in the feminism of any woman, how does it feel?
Do you think that, her feminism should be protected in any case, in spite of any barrier?
There is need for feminism. I think feminism means the equality of men and women. It does not mean that men and women should do the exact same things. I think feminism is about respecting each other, which should always be there irrespective of the function of a person in the society

ReplyDelete- Yes - most definitely. But as you said men and woman are different and it drives me nuts sometimes when woman try to get into our territory.
men and women are physically different. i don't know if it is true that men exhibit a certain set of emotions and women exhibit a different set. i think all humans are emotionally different, be it men or women.
ReplyDeletei don't know much about feminism. but, i believe that women have every right to receive all the privileges that men receive. there should be no gender based bias. privileges should be common to all. making use of them is left to individuals.
I though its only about the rights! or equality by respect.. and not be equal to men or men equal women in their thinking.. things like that!.. Say, on the work front.. men were the dominating force and when women entered the feild to work! they were abused or treated badly .. and there arose a need for equality as far as respect is considered!..

But to argue against the equality of your own gender... people like you upset me, and I was thinking about argueing with you, but it hardly seems worth it. In my experience, you and others like you will value no opinion but your own.

Feminism (to me) states I own my mind, my body, and my emotional states and have the right to have all of these.

A man is applauded, offered assistance and told it is for the good of his family when he chases after a dream at any cost. (Long hours forsaking time with his family) His mind is valued. I want the same right. To be able to leave the house and the family to finish or chase dreams. I want the support of my friends and family to make it happen.
Men have sex before marriage and others pat him on the back saying he just needs to sow his wild oats. I want the same rights, freedom from condemnation for giving in to the carnal side. I own my body as he does; no one has the right to tell me how to use it.
A man has a bad day, his temper flares and no one asks him if it is because of his hormone level. They automatically assume it is because he had a bad day. No one thinks it might be from a drop in calcium or potassium which has hampered his mood. I want the right to have a bad day without it being a hormonal issue.
As a feminist, I must also protect the rights of a woman who wishes to stay home, to raise the next generation in dignity. She is a strong and valued member of our society. She takes on the tasks some of us are not emotionally equipped to handle. We need her and she is our sister. Feminism should cover her as well for in her home, she has the right to her mind, her body and her emotional well being.

I think men and women are similar with emotions, habits and in wat they do. Lets not compare the 30s and 60s. But women did the same amount of work what men did outside. During war times, women did play a major rolein helping the wounded and some were trained fighters too around the world.
What we consider one person (male) powerful can be the same for women too. For some its born inside and for others it has to be motivated.Its more of leadership qualities.
What you inherit, you get it.
But men do force women to agree on many things including bednight stories. Do you think at time feminism plays?? Not at all. If she says, she is tired, he goes for a hunt.
Motherhood on doctors opinion may be basedon womesn health and fmaily. Not all women have a good relationship right.
I consider feminism is one who dares to fight for women in all needs. It can be from prostitutes to educated women.
A feminist is stamped when she goes out of her way to explain and who talks openly about the struggles and helping who need. Some can be contradict if they agree about womens relationship open to another person so on. It is accepted as long as you are in
the group.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you.. the unique thing that makes a woman a woman must be preserved.. but you know who needs to value it first, for it to be preserved? The woman herself!
ReplyDeleteTo equate women to men is to actually demean women, bcs they are beyond doubt a much better, healthier part of the species.
Have you noticed, that in all species, but particularly lions and bees, there are more females than males? That females do everything, and males are good for just one thing - procreation? The males among lions also finish off some difficult kills if the lioness has a physical strength constraint, but that's about it.. Biology, is a very useful thing!
