I am happy!
All my friends out there, if you remember this is the follow up blog of my earlier blog “My Dream”.
I am very elated to share my joy that my friend has become a father of a beautiful baby girl. You must be thinking why I am so elated about that. Apparently I have two reasons for that, to which I will come later. We all hoped the baby to be born near 15th November. But she came early. It seems she was also very excited to see us all. It was 5th of November, a very hot day here in
Now let me come to the point as why I was so elated about it. If you remember I had created a dream child of my own and named him “Dawn”. He still exists and growing up very fast. He has become very intelligent .I have taught him how to access the Internet and so the whole day he wants to sit on the net and learn new things. His language accusation has improved a lot. Perhaps I am digressing from the main point.
I have two reasons to be happy; the most important is, since she is a baby girl and so my “Dawn” is safe with me now. I don’t have to give him away .Other wise I would feel selfish to keep him with me, since this dream boy was the out come of my friend’s wife’s pregnancy. They got their baby girl and I got my “Dawn”. Every one is happy. My “Dawn” will be with me now, growing and flourishing for ever. I have become so much attached to him that it would be very hard for me to depart from him. Because when ever I would tell him about my friend he would become very sad and depressed and start tugging my hair, no matter how much assurance I would give him that I won’t let him depart from me.
Second reason to be happy for me is that, by some coincidence my friend asked me some suggestion about naming her. And I said name her “Opal”. I have always liked this name. Nature’s entire splendor seems to be reflected in the manifold opulence of fine Opals: fire and lightnings, all the colors of the rainbow and the soft shine of far seas. The name Opal was probably derived from Sanskrit “upala“, meaning”valuable stone”. In the days of Roman antiquity there existed a so-called “opalus”, or a “stone from several elements”. So the ancient Romans may already have had an inkling why the Opals show such a striking play of colors.
She is named "Opal" .Since this name is very close to my heart, some way or the other I will always feel connected to her.
I haven’t seen her yet, and I am waiting for the moment when I will see her in real, keeping all my Imaginations apart.
dawn really confused me..! somewhere down the line.. you cofused..a lot!.. with this and that!.. But good to see you happy :).. have a nice time.. and hope to seee opal soon :)...
