Communication and Intimacy

Women need intimacy. They always try to connect to people. What draws them to do that, I have no idea but at times, it surprises me a lot. Perhaps this is the reason women are the ones who always get into trouble because of their wacky nature .As familiar as it is ,women have always been infamous for creating trouble and back biting. It has always been like this and no matter what they never change them selves. I am always quizzical about it and being a woman myself, always try to find a good answer for it.

I have always realized that in a party of men, the talks would be very superficial, very ordinary. On the other hand, any party, which involves women, gets very personal. You never know after a day or two what rumors will be flying in the sky. When women talk to each other or even to a man, they just open up their heart, and expect the same with others, which leads them into trouble. Every woman knows this, but we continue to do the same thing. Once women see people, they cannot keep their lips together. It is a travesty to the whole women world. I am no different either.

After mulling over this issue, I have realized that there are various reasons for women to develop this nature. One of the most important factors is their physical structure and demand. Women have a very complex physical structure. Body consists of various parts than men have. Existences of different types of hormones make their body even more complex. As long as all the hormones are agreeing with the body and each other, it functions well, but as soon as even a single hormone goes awry, the adverse effects start to show up.

All the bodily problems you have, you feel a need to talk to some one about them, explain how much pain you are in. In a hope that you might get some consoling answer. Now you must be thinking that I am digressing from the topic, but I am not. Let me explain how this is linked to women's brain malfunctioning. Continuing the topic I have seen a pattern that human being have a tendency to talk about their problems to some one, who you think will empathize with you. Eventually that leads to the path of intimacy with the person to whom a woman opens up her problem with.

There are physical, womanly problems, which only a woman can understand. Married women can share their problems with their husbands, but only to a certain extent. With husbands too, you can have a fear that he might not understand your feelings, he might make fun of your feelings, or he might be so soft hearted that you yourself would not like to bother him much. It can also be that what you want does not suit your significant half, because Women have different brain wiring then men have. Things, which are unimportant to men, can be a life long desire for a woman. In that case, to whom will a woman go to? Obviously, she will seek that emotional exchange elsewhere, which will eventually create a mess later in their lives.

Apart from Physical reasons, there are social concerns, which bother women more than men. Normally I have seen in my house or in any other house, that if there is some occasion or some party, my father will get over it saying that he could not attend because of his job reasons or some thing else, but my mother can not make excuses. In any case, she has to attend the function. Women think more about maintaining the social network then men do. Moreover, it is obvious that, the more you interact the more conflicts will arise.

However, after mulling over this subject, I have come to at least one conclusion. Even though intimate interaction with others can lead you to a wacky situation some times, still it has a very cathartic effect on your heart. You feel relaxed. In addition, it leaves an important conclusion that; intimacy with some one depends upon your skills of proper communication. How intimate you can be into any relationship that depends on how open heartily you communicate with. Unless you feel relaxed to open up your problems to some one, it will be very difficult to be intimate.

In spite of all these, I am still befuddled about whether a woman should mess up their lives, to get some intimacy, or just move on. At least I do not have the courage to get into those womanly messy problems.

In order to help woman to get rid of this problem the members at home should help her out. Create such an environment so that a woman should feel comfortable opening up in front of their own family members. Let the woman feel that how important her pain, her happiness, her demands are to them. Won’t it be a remarkable thing to share all the problems and be solved at home instead of going out?
