So sensitive!

I was reading a blog which mentioned how rhymes are linked to some kind of ancient stories , torturous activities by kings,spread of epidemic etc.She also mentioned how after knowing that "ring- a- ring a roses" is about a song which is about  the spread of plague in which people got red rashes ,and the sentence "all fall down" means all the people died with those rashes.

I learnt the link to this story with the song around 3 years back when my daughter got the rashes for the first time which later we found out that it is atopic eczema.

After that till now, I have never let her sing this song even after my second daughter is now 1 year old.I always fear that if she sings this song she will face the same consequences as those people faced upon which this rhyme is written.My daughter always insists upon singing this song making a circle with me and her sister,but I always refuse.I could never explain to her the reason,perhaps she will understand this  sentiment once she will become a mother her self on day .
