My little creation!
Recently my husband bought a car for me.It is 2018 Toyota Camry.I love my car ,everything about it.The color, the interior the design ,the comfort, the safety and above all the feeling when I am driving.
One thing I did not like was the sun visor.Since the height of the car is about 1 inch smaller than the older model ,I have also come down 1 inch in my seat. Since I am only 5 feet tall the length of the sun visor is not enough for me.Every morning when I go to drop off my kids to school the bright sun and its almighty glare is right on my eyes. I can not see a thing even with my powerful sunglasses. That makes the driving so scary .Same thing would happen every evening when I had to drive to pick up kids from school. That bright glare was right in front of me making it impossible to drive. So all the time I would hold the steering wheel with one hand and use my other hand to shade my eyes.
I searched up a lot ,asked around people but no one gave me a right solution which would work.So I tried my own version and it worked beautifully.I made a little "extender" for the sun visor .It is custom designed for the length of my car's sun visor.
I have sewed the velcro so that I can adjust the position and secure tightly based on what time of the day I am driving and where the the sun glare is at that time.It works every time so well that I do not even need my sunglasses any more.
This is the picture which is not as sophisticated as you would think because I was just trying to sew this first time. The thread color is mismatched ,because I was not sure if this will work so I did not put up with any extra work of matching the color thread.
I can move it up or down ,or if I want I can take it down completely.Since there is a velcro system, it doesn't take time to maneuver around.I feel so relieved.
