Stepping Beyond Comfort: My First Job Interview

There comes a moment in life when we’re faced with a choice: stay within the safety of what we know or step into the unknown. A few years ago, I stood at that crossroads, grappling with self-doubt and fear, yet yearning for growth. This is the story of the day I chose courage over comfort—and how it changed me. It began with an unexpected decision. It was August 8th, 2016. I had come across a job posting for a "Market Development Assistant" and, on a whim, decided to apply. Deep down, I was sure I wouldn’t make it. My resume was devoid of professional experience, but I chose honesty over pretense. In the application, I wrote: "I have no experience working in a professional environment, but I am eager to learn and willing to work hard."
